ETA Star International signs MoUwith TERI on environmental studies

ETA Star International, member of the Dubai-based $5 billion ETA Ascon Star Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Energy Research Institute (TERI) of India to explore areas of co-operation in an effort towards sustainable development.
The MoU pertains to co-operation between ETA Star International and TERI in a number of areas including the assessment of buildings to get them LEED-certified in basic, silver, gold and platinum ratings. The agreement enables ETA Star International to provide these services to other organizations in the UAE and Gulf region.

The other areas of co-operation include conducting environmental impact studies, energy audits of commercial, residential and industrial units, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) studies and reducing carbon footprint in the UAE.


    Angola Cement Plant Contract

Mr. Hameed Syed Salahuddin, Director of ETA STAR INTERNATIONAL L.L.C. has signed a contract valuing AED 1.8 Billion for carrying out Engineering, Procurement and Construction of a 4200 Tons per day cement plant in Angola.

This contract is one of the single biggest EPC Contract awarded to ETA ASCON STAR Group of Companies as on date.

The scope includes Power-plant, Roads and Optional items like Quarry Development Equipments. The Contract has been won against international competition and the client is M/s. FCKS. The Project is of national importance to Angola and being supported by the National Oil Company, namely SONANGOL.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  ETA STAR INTERNATIONAL Signs KAHRAMAA Contract for AED 835 Million  

ETA Star International, a member of the $5 billion Dubai-based ETA Ascon Star Group, has bagged a prestigious contract valued at AED835 million from the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) for Phase-VIII of the Power Transmission System expansion. The scope of work involves Supply, Installation, Testing and Laying of High Voltage Electric Power Cables in various parts of Doha, Qatar.

The contract was recently signed by His Excellency Abdulla Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy & Industry, Qatar and Hameed Syed Salahuddin, Director of ETA Ascon Star Group.
